The memorial service

Close to the end, a party memorial service is held by the middle school (where Devon went before his death) for Devon, and the rest of the people who where killed at the same time.  This is not a very big part of the book.  Caitlin gets her portrait done by the school art teacher, who then requests her to do his portrait.  When it is done he is amazed by her talent, and gives her a set of colored pencils to use in her artwork.  She is reluctant at first, but then she finds closure, and that clears up her need for black and white.  The book ends with her drawing, using her new colored pencils...
